Founded in 1962 by Primo Pacenti, Canalicchio di Sopra was among the first to recognize Brunello’s potential. Today, under the direction of his grandson Francesco Ripaccioli, the estate continues to embody both tradition and innovation—crafting wines that balance power, elegance, and a deep sense of place.
From the northern slopes of Montalcino, these vineyards yield Brunellos known for their purity of fruit, lifted aromatics, and age-worthy structure. Each vintage reflects a unique expression of the land, the season, and the family’s dedication to authenticity.
