David Milligan Selections Wine Dinner

  • Anis Cafe & Bistro 2974 Grandview Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30305 United States (map)

Join us Tuesday, September 26th for a French wine dinner hosted by Alex Milligan, President and CEO of David Milligan Selections. The event will take place at Anis Cafe & Bistro in Buckhead, GA, and will feature a 5 course dinner with wine pairings.

Our esteemed guest, Alex Milligan, will be presenting the exceptional wines of the David Milligan Selections, a French wine importer known for being a trusted source in estate wines. The Milligans represent producers who practice sustainable agriculture in the vineyard and the highest standard of winemaking in the winery to perfectly present each vineyard's individuality.

David Milligan entered the wine trade in 1957, as a trainee, rolling barrels around the cellar and bottling wine. At that time most wine was still imported in barrel and bottled in England.

In late 1995, he made the major decision to form his own company, David Milligan Selections, dealing with fine Estate wines from France as well as the major Bordeaux Chateaux, where he partnered with the leading Bordeaux negociant, Joanne Bordeaux. He still represents his original suppliers, Domaine Fournier in the Loire, Famille Quiot in the Rhone and Provence and Chateau de Pizay in Beaujolais and Maconnais, as well as a range of other Estates. With his tasting and buying experience and a distribution policy of shipping direct from the producers to wholesalers in most states, eliminating the national importer mark up, they are generally regarded amongst the “Best Value” estate bottled wines in each appellation.

The wines we'll be pouring include Chateau du Trignon Gigondas Alwen, Domaine du Vieux Lazaret Chateauneuf du Pape Rouge and Blanc, Domaine Pascal Renaud Pouilly Fuisse Vieilles Vignes and Chateau de Pizay La Centenaire Morgon.

Don't miss out on this unforgettable wine tasting experience. Reserve your seat now for an evening of fine wine, exceptional cuisine, and great company.
